New Database on Trial: ProQuest Criminal Justice

Right now, the Library provides access to some great criminal justice databases: EBSCO's Criminal Justice Abstracts with Full Text and the video collection, Criminal Justice and Public Safety in Video. For a limited time (until October 12), we have a trial subscription to ProQuest Criminal Justice, a comprehensive database supporting research on crime, its causes and impacts, legal and social implications, as well as litigation and crime trends. Give it a try and let us know what you think of this resource.

This is especially convenient since September 19 is International Talk Like a Pirate Day.

Getting ahold of textbooks at the start of the semester can be confusing. There are so many choices (rentals? older editions? used copies for sale online?) and this involves research if you want to save the most money.

What are your options?
