Equipment Loan Guidelines

Guidelines for Laptops, iPads, Calculators, and Chromebooks

  • Thank you for borrowing the Library’s equipment! You are responsible for the equipment you borrow, including the cost of repair or replacement if it is lost, damaged or stolen.
  • Please do not leave the equipment that you borrow unattended. If it is lost you will be responsible for the full cost as well as all applicable fines fees, and you will lose your technology borrowing privileges.
  • Please do not save to equipment that you borrow from the Library. Save documents to a flash drive, your Office 365 storage area, or email them to yourself. To avoid the loss of your work you must save it periodically to some form of external storage, because the equipment we loan are set to delete any saved or unsaved documents when they are rebooted or powered off. Media Services is not responsible for data loss.
  • Equipment must be returned to the Media Help Desk (E-101) by the due date to avoid overdue fines.
